Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 27, 2026

Hey there

We built Unroll to help you quit, not to harvest your data. This privacy policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What We Collect

Account info — You can use Unroll anonymously or sign in with Apple or Google. If you sign in, we receive the name and email you choose to share. Anonymous accounts don't require any personal info at all.

Quiz and habit data — When you take quizzes about your habits, we store your answers so we can track your progress and personalize your experience.

Posts and community content — Anything you post in the app is stored so other users can see it.

Streak and challenge data — We track your streaks and challenge participation to keep you motivated and show your progress.

Local preferences — We save some settings like notification choices directly on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your phone.

Push notification tokens — If you opt in to push notifications, we store a device token so we can send you reminders. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings.

Where Your Data Lives

We use Google Firebase to store your data. Your information is hosted on Google's servers and protected by their security infrastructure.

What We Don't Do

Deleting Your Data

You can delete all of your data at any time from the Settings screen inside the app. This removes your account, posts, quiz answers, streak history, and everything else we have. Once deleted, it's gone — we can't recover it.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Each of these services has its own privacy policy.

Children

Unroll is intended for users 17 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to This Policy

If we make meaningful changes, we'll let you know through the app. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent version.
